Well.....

I recently realized something. Once, I was asked, "Do you have a diary?" I said, "No." Now I realize that this blog has become something of a diary. I think here, and I throw my feelings here. Anyway.

Here is a question that I asked some intelligent people, and I would now like to pose it to you guys to see if the responses would be the same.

Let us assume that complete transparency is physically possible. Also assume that light reaches every corner of the universe. If everything is infinitely transparent, and we looked, what would we see? To help understand the question, when we look through a transparent surface, we see what's behind it. In this sense, what is "behind" the universe?

This is rather an interesting question, for one must assume that the universe is not everything. If the universe is not everything then, what lies beyond? Is it an abyss then? One guy mentioned that this question refers to the Physical Plane. Perhaps then, what lies beyond that universe is the Mental or Spiritual Plane? For surely, sight is pointless in these planes. Would we even "see" anything in these planes? Although the universe may seem large, this is but one of the many planes of existence, the physical plane. Therefore, looking into universe is but a small portion of the infinity of existence. What would be in the other planes? The physical plane is experienced through our 5 senses. Naturally this must mean that the Mental Plane is experienced by our mind, and the Spiritual Plane is experienced through our spirit. Experiencing something through our mind, as we know it, is thinking. However, all our thinking is based on our perception. For example, one can think of running. This, then, is based on our perception. What the person sees when he imagines himself running, what he feels, what he smells. Even when thinking verbally, such as in writing an essay, or solving a maths problem, this is based on our sight of words that we have imprinted into our memory.

Thinking then, cannot be the mental plane of existence. So what is? And finally, what is the spiritual plane of existence? How does one experience through the spirit? The spirit's experiences cannot be emotions, for these come from thinking and the physical body. Does the spirit experience at all?

Those are a heck lot of questions for 1 post. Answer them.

Hunger.....

Extremely hungry now. Time is 8.09pm and the last thing i ate was two packets of maggi mee around 11.00am.......Trying to occupy myself so I don't think about the hunger. Movie is loading really slowly. Hunger isn't always a bad thing...To quote from Gryllus the Pig, "Hunger is a really good thing if you know it's about to be satisfied." Oh great we're going for dinner now. YESSSSSSSSSSSS

Elephants = IMBA

Today I had a lot of interesting battles. Among them......54 elephants against an army of more than a thousand....


In the picture, it shows 4 troops of elephants. 3 men ride one elephant. The numbers show the men, not the elephants. add the numbers together, divide by 3, 54 elephants. The following chronicles the fight...........

The captain looked to the front. The forest spread out like a sheet over the land, and, as he knew, over the enemy. Scouts had reported a force of about a thousand before he had gone into battle. His men were worried, naturally. 170 men against a thousand? It was pure madness. Or was it?

African elephants were well-known animals of war in the parts they fought in. Each elephant had 3 men, one handler and 2 archers. Elephants were notoriously hard to kill. Whereas the average horse only took 3-4 arrows to kill, the elephant took nearly a hundred. Sharp swords and spears had difficulty piercing the thick hide of the elephant, and few men were brave enough to stand against a charging elephant, weighing at least a tonne, and brandishing 2 long, sharpened tusks. They were the perfect war animal.

The captain only saw 300 men, which meant that about 700 of them were hiding in the forest. Nevertheless, he would mow them down. He had already decided on his course of action. First, he would shoot them until he ran out of arrows, or until they charged. Then, his elephants charged. Simple, but effective. He was to continue on his way after the battle, as the king would not tolerate any delays. He gave the signal to advance, and the elephants moved forward in a huge grey line.

The enemy shifted about in the forest, and he marked their positions in his mind. As he drew within range, he ordered his men to fire upon the spots he had seen enemy in. His men only saw empty space, but fired anyway. The wisdom of his actions came to light as enemy soldiers were revealed upon dying from the numerous arrows.

After only a few minutes of tolerating arrows, the enemy started to advance, the general, a coward as always, hiding behind his battle line. The captain waited for the right moment-----timing was of the essence. Too soon, and his elephants would tire, and the enemy would be able to brace themselves, causing the elephants to lose some of their scariness. Too late, and his elephants would have no momentum upon which to crush the enemy line. His men shifted uneasily as the enemy got closer. The elephants did not. He waited silently. 200 meters. His men looked at him. 150 meters. The elephants trumpeted loudly. 100 meters. The enemy started to sprint. 50 meters. He charged.

As he advanced into battle with his men, the elephants tossing the enemy around like rag dolls, he noted with delight that the enemy were shaking in their boots. The battle was over in minutes. None of his elephants had died, only a few archers. The entire enemy army was dead, save for the few with the wit to run away. Now, to be on his way......

You....................tube. sucks.

Youtube is officially on my top 10 hate list. The stupid 10 minute upload limit is doing nothing but hindering users from uploading their works. They said that it's supposed to reduce copyrighted material from being uploaded. NOT HELPING. I've watched 3-4 FULL movies on youtube. The users simply upload the video in parts. And for people whose videos are 11 minutes, it's just a pain in the ass. Therefore, I call out to all my readers to sign this petition so that more users can upload their masterpieces, and so that bolun will finally see that I managed to win though outnumbered by 400. Nevermind. Just sign the damn petition.

Today while coming home, I saw a bus with an interesting message on it. It was a safety message. As I stared at it, wondering what was it that was wrong with it, I got it. It read, "CHILD SEATS SAVE LITTLE LIVES." THAT'S what's wrong with it.....How come the advertising dept. for the SPF couldn't think of a more suitable synonym for little....Young, Baby, Kid, even Child, would all be better than LITTLE.

Out of boredom, I have decided to let you people know what I think of the people in 2B

1.Abigail: Sigh.......

2.Alicia: Sigh......

3.Claire: She's one of the few people who have gained my respect beyond basic respect. No idea whether it's because of Chiun Yuan(see 28) or because she could probably kick my ass in a few seconds. But I don't think that will ever happen because she's too nice to do that. RIGHT, Claire?

4.Yu Xian: Sigh......

5.Angel: Seems like a quiet girl. She's actually kind of humourous and kind of opens up once you get to know her. Again, not one to be trifled with, because although she's not allowed to thrust her sword into your chest, she very well might if you piss her off, which should be difficult in the first place.

6.Shirley: Chairperson of 2B. While her efforts are commendable, she's nearly as abysmal as Alicia. Very loud.

7.Kah Kah: She is one weird person. While overall quite a nice person, she has problems changing perspectives. If she gets accustomed to one idea, she cannot understand how something is the same from another perspective. Can be evil at times.

8.Tian Li: Evil. Pure evil. She looks like such a nice and innocent little girl right? WRONG. She loves to poke stuff. I swear if you piss her off enough she will produce a spear and stab you. Can evilly refuse to help you at times, and will resort to poking to make you go away. While her weapon of choice is usually a pen or a satay stick, I wouldn't be surprised to see her conjure a spear out of thin air to impale someone.

9.Jieru: Brutal. Don't piss her off, people. Getting whacked by her is lethal. Can be evil at times, as all 2B people are, but she is a violent......VERY violent person.

10.Tse Yin: Kind of evil. Retarded at times. The following is a short conversation we had once. Her: Eh there's CAP later. Me: I didn't know that, right? Her: Huh, you don't know meh? I just kinda stared at her, then turned away. A short while later.....Her: So are you going or not? Not fun to piss off either. I bet she has the hind legs of a horse. Never really got kicked by her before, don't want to find out. If any of you do get kicked by her, tell me about it.

11.Sarah: Quite a nice person, sufficiently evil for a 2B person. While being rather humourous at times, and has proven to be adept at the english language, she has been known to demonstrate interesting reactions to bugs. If you wanna find out, show her a roach.

12.Wenting: No Comment.

13.Suzanne: No Comment.

14.Huixian: Horny.

15.Vanessa: Sufficiently evil, biased against me(who in 2B isn't? she's just more so), and retarded most of the time. Exceptionally slow at maths. I am inclined to believe her IQ to range from 80 - 110. While kind of nice at times, better to leave her alone, lest you become retarded from the experience. When engaging Vanessa, it's best to put some sort of mental barrier between you and her. The better to preserve your intellect, you see. Shows interesting reactions towards and regarding Samuel Low.

16.Huey Chyi: She DA MAN! She has a very guy attitude towards everything, and I would be proud to acknowledge her as a brother. Not to be trifled with because you should always treat her lethality level as a guy(full fledged one, not like....well. you know...) while respecting her status as a girl.

17.Wei Jie: Behaves like a blithering idiot at times. The good thing is that you always know when he's serious. Can be an asshole at times, and keeps on noticing references to sexual stuff. Leave him alone if you wanna avoid being contaminated.

18.Bryan: Quiet. He seems to be very patronizing towards Yijun(see 24). They always hang out together, away from everyone else, occasionally joined by Yousheng(see 25). I don't know what is going on, would rather not know. Very passive.

19.Huakai: Is fully capable of being a royal asshole. Prince Asshole de Arsehole. Likes to flex his pectorals, and likes to think he has wonderful abs. While physically stronger than almost every guy in 2B, his annoying characteristics make me wanna punch him some....well...most of the time.

20.Jerome: Chairperson of 2B. We are considering whether it was a good idea to vote for him as chairperson. While entering no one in the management diary unless told by the teacher, he is also a fairly competent chairperson. The problem is that he enjoys joining in the ATCHM(Anti Teck Chye Happiness Movement), and is probably a fan of tormenting me. While not as much of a royal asshole as Huakai(see 19) or Junwei(see 31), he can decide to be even more of an asshole than both of them combined if you piss him off enough, or if he suddenly feels like it. Revered as a god among 5 other people.

21.Joshua: Loves to dry hump the guys of 2B. Very horny, and also likes to notice references to sexual stuff, like Weijie(see 17) and William(see 29). Very much a slacker, and his love of sports gets him smelling worse than he needs to. Some of you may recall the incident of Tseng Wei(see 30) spraying the air with deodorant after recess, which was straight after PE.

22.Choon Zuan: Really complicated relationships going on for this guy. No one can really decide whether he likes Jean or Vanessa(see 15) more. We just assume its Jean when he talks to her, and Vanessa whenever a reference comes up. Can be a nice guy most of the time, though sufficiently evil for a 2B person.

23.Yao Zhong: Sigh.......

24. Yijun: Needs to learn to be more independant, as well as develop a higher pain threshold. He also needs to stop learning how to fight from Masked Rider shows. His main form of defense is spraying water at you from his water bottle, or attempting to poke you with a pen. Hates it when he bleeds, and can complain of pain from a small pat on the back.

25. Yousheng: No Comment

26. Bolun: Bolun is probably one of the most unique people in the world. Outrageous things he has done include, but is not limited to, the following list:
-Trying to catch a fly with 2 soup bowls. Upon failing, bigger bowls.
-Swallowing a WHOLE egg.
-Eating half a watermelon for recess
-3 hit combo with rolled up paper, resulting in the victim being retarded for 6 days.
-Take a hit from Huakai(see 19), with rolled up paper, on the back, which resulted in the tearing of his front pocket. Perhaps he channels Qi.

27. Teck Chye: A really awesome guy. He's very kind, generous, helpful, optimistic and humourous. In fact, his awesomeness is so great it cannot be expressed in words. The only person that can compare to him is Chuck Norris.

28. Chiun Yuan: Weird guy. Loves lame jokes, Claire(see 3) and things related to Claire. Will not hesitate to pummel you or squeeze your hand into juice. He's just weird. You have to know him to understand.

29. William: I think he hates life, but tell me if I'm wrong. He's an average guy trying to deal with all the shit life catapults his way. Does a fairly good job of it, and in the process creates some form of humour.

30. Tseng Wei: Those of you who don't know him probably think he is a cold-blooded killer. You are half right. Once you know him he can be funny and occasionally generous, but is quite easily pissed off. Has a weird love his shoes, especially new ones. Don't dirty his shoes if you don't wanna get killed.

31. Junwei: Royal Asshole, currently. He can be very much of an ass, even if you don't piss him off. A.K.A. Ghandick, who everyone knows is in it for the BRRRRRRRST MLK.

我想到了另外一点。人类真地算团结吗？如果你说是，那人类不就是很喜欢自残吗？你看，世界各地都时常打仗。 如果人类真地团结，与其他人打仗根自残有何不同？如果人类能真正地团结起了，我们就进步得更快。但说道进步，进步真地对人类有益吗？请你看看现代人类。10，000 年前，人类真正的合作。一群原始人，只为了生存，合作胜过了恶劣的环境。现在生存已不是一个很大的问题，我们就应该停止合作， 回到10，000年前吗？新加坡相当安全，但在一些国家，每天都很可能会死。 无论是巨大的猛犸象，还是核弹头，人类每天都有非自然死的机会。我想，也许在发达、进步的过程中，我们变得太自满，太骄傲。人类也变得十分虚伪。当我们不在合作打败共同的敌人是，我们就在自相残杀。这使得我们为了得到好处，向别人撒谎。为什么一个会毫不犹豫帮老太太国界的人会是向其他国家投炸弹的人呢？难道我们生活在一个讽刺的世界里吗？难道伊拉克就没有老太太过街吗？当过街都要冒着一个弹头掉在你头上，世界就真地疯了。

After a rather saddening event just now, I got to thinking about modern society. Are we really that advanced? Quote, "Our society only focuses on academics now", from an "intellectual". Is that true? If so, then essentially our RV life is worthless. Aristotle claimed that ethics is a practical science. It can only be learned through practice, and not reasoning. In today's society, everyone is saying they don't value academics as much as other things, such as social abilities, critical thinking skills and the like. If one does not practice ethics, how can one hope to be valued in today's modern society? And yet, the fact remains that today's society is hopelessly biased towards those with great academic acheivements. No university cert? No job. At least not one our current society would deem "worthy". How can we be so shallow, that one must be able to understand such a wide diversity of things, and only be required to use a small amount of that wide diversity of things? Wouldn't it be so much smarter to FOCUS on the small area? How can well educated people be so shallow? They're supposed to be...well educated! That means, apart from being academically capable, they're supposed to be able to think well! Thinking well does not include thinking that academics are the only important thing!

I thought of another point. "No man is an island"? Is that truly so? Is the human race one whole? If we are, then the human race is one emo kid. We're killing each other over the world. That's like slitting yourself. If we truly came together, we would advance much faster. But then, is advancement truly good? Look at us. 10,000 years ago, the human race truly was working together. A small group of homo sapiens, banding together for the sole purpose of survival. Now that survival is no longer a big problem for us, are we to shatter that bond, that one day we might return to what we were like 10,000 years ago? When every day brings with it the risk of death, be it an angry rampaging mammoth or a misplaced nuclear warhead? I think that somewhere along the way of advancement, we got too complacent. Humans are now officially one big arrogant blob. At least we're the same in that. Why is it that the same people who would not hesitate to help an old lady cross the street are the ones who are throwing bombs across international borders? Are we living in a world of pure irony now? Are there no old ladies crossing the streets in Iraq? What has come of this, when crossing the street means risking a warhead dropping on you?

And I haven't even started talking about the average teen yet...................

Down with the flu.....

Raindrops keep falling on my head........well, no raindrops.....but i'm down with the flu.....so i took the opportunity to pon school =D. Quit the whining, I'm an opportunist. Damn ammonia. Never taking a whiff of that damn thing again. Wednesday science practical I accidentally inhaled ammonia...Gave me a sore throat, then after the sore throat i got a flu....speaking of science practical...i never did unlock that drawer i locked on wednesday...well...i'll probably get back to it 2 weeks later.

Spent half the day....well..the whole day, playing RTW....finally destroyed the senate, though i pissed off the 2 factions who can parallel my strength. Below is a nice screenshot of a near impossible battle i fought.

If you'll look at the numbers, you'll see i deployed 500 men and was left with 400, while the enemy deployed 1.2k men and was left with 200.
Not the best thing in the world. But before it, there were 2 other battles.
1st battle Me:1000 Enemy: 1000.......Result Me:800 Enemy:90
2nd battle Me: 800 Enemy:1000........Result Me:500 Enemy:87
3rd battle(the above one) Me: 500 Enemy: 1.2k.....Result Me: 400 Enemy: 260

and all the battles were back to back......gets strenous on the mind...
Playing RTW always makes me feel like a military genius....oh another battle happened way after that where it was 400 to 1600....i was the 400, guess who won. I managed to stay inside my city and hold them off...not easy, considering they managed to get onto my city walls before i was able to stop them...amazingly, 9 samnite gladiators and 25 legionary cohort managed to hold off nearly 200 soldiers....and the result....2 samnite gladiators and 5 legionary cohort left, 0 enemies left. and on the other side of the walls, 90 legionary cohort held off nearly 200 soldiers as well...they still had about 150 plus troops left, plus about 700 in reinforcements which, for some reason, never decided to join the battle. I swear I was *THIS* close to annihilating those fools when the time ended and the game declared it a "close victory".....right after i won however, 1.3k troops instantly besieged my city again, upon which i got pissed and just saved game and quit...hmm...i think i'll go back and kill them all now!

EDIT:
A battle happened when i went back. 210 against 1160.
Such a pity...they could have joined my army instead of dying against it. oh by the way if you count the troops at the bottom its 2+5+6+11 = 24. i suppose the of the 52 mentioned remaining, 28 were wounded, and not killed....

Hmm.....

Well its 0951.....Both my parents don't allow me to go to the class outing....Might try again later when my mum comes home....Well for now let's have a psychological analysis of a certain "17 year old"....

Well I think I can see that his mum is trying VERY HARD not to judge him.....After all, he does have a somewhat successful sister......well in this case I think its a wonder his mother hasn't disowned him yet. well for those of you that can't stand much more of his wonderful grammar and rhetorics, let me summarise. He says that he hasn't argued with his dad yet, wants to live alone with his "friends/brothers" or "just with dear".....as long as they give him his allowance.....So....His family, who cared for this ingrate for 17 years, raised him properly(well, maybe not so properly....), and gave him more than enough spending money for 17 years, are not even as good as his so called "good friends" and "brothers and buddies".........that's kinda interesting, considering that he says he wants to live away from home, but wants his parents to continue giving him allowance. The fact that his parents give him allowance is more than enough proof that they're better than his buddies and friends...I doubt that his friends would give him allowance, a house to live in, or food and water for 17 years....And the word allowance.....It's an amount of spending money given to a youth....Basically, the parents "allow" him to spend the money, hence the word allowance. I'd like to see this guy survive in the real world.....Those in favour, check out the rest of his hilarious blog......

surprised? i actually posted because i felt that a)many events have not been accounted for and b)nothing else seems particularly appealing right now(except maybe....ah nvm....)

I can't remember what all those events I didn't post about were....not all of them at least. PLTC is still clear in my memory so let's do that...

PLTC: really slack. like...girl guides standard. no offence to any guides. you're girls *smirk*....
anyway, after PLTC I found out something about myself. Previously I thought i hated ACS people. PLTC has completely....well not completely....changed that opinion. Now I no longer hate ACS people. now I HATE ACS people. They're just really slack(hold pumping position 1 and a half minutes, anyone?). PT was hilarious. 3 PUMPING! THREE! I know there's that number 3 thing with scouting....we could have done 33 pumping instead. But we did THREE! Not to say that I didn't appreciate having a RELAXED camp, but I just find it some what amusing. Pretty much nothing big happened....Toilet had shit floating in it and the flush didn't work...huakai won best camper award(someone is trying to be funny....).
S1 still owns the shit outta S2 anyway....We have SMILEY!

Here are my Midyear resolutions(nobody said we couldn't do things like that....)
1.Work hard..........................................................TO LEARN THE CARLTON DANCE!
2. 3.7GPA for the rest of the year. This means at least 1 4.0 and 1 3.5. its crazy, but workable. I've always been a fan of crazy ideas myself anyway.
